[Daily Photo] Early springtime on a quiet Ann Arbor street / 初春的寧靜街道

I was on a quiet Ann Arbor street (Onondaga Street), walking toward the Arboretum. Then I saw these beautiful trees with white blossoms that were in full bloom. I went back and forth on the street, trying to find a best angle to take photos. Finally I found it.

[Daily Photo] On the boardwalk in Black Sand Basin, Yellowstone / 黃石公園的步道上

It was a beautiful day. We were on the boardwalk in Black Sand Basin, Yellowstone National Park. In many hot spring or geyser areas of Yellowstone, visitors can only stand on the boardwalk or the observation deck.

此照片拍攝於美國黃石公園內的黑沙盆地。在公園內的許多溫泉或噴泉區，遊客只能在這樣子的步道上行走，不能離開步道。

[Daily Photo] 1960 Slingshot dragster in Henry Ford Museum / 60年代的高速賽車

This photo was taken in the Henry Ford Museum (in Dearborn, Michigan). The vehicle in this photo is the 1960 Slingshot dragster built by Sam Buck and Bob Thompson. The driver seat is located on the top left of this photo. In the center of the photo you can see the engine (Ford V-8, L-Head valves, 320 cubic inches), and on the bottom right a gas tank.

By the way, I love the Henry Ford Museum because it's a very friendly museum. They allowed me to use tripod to take photos inside the museum (as long as I didn't block the other visitors), so I can get bright and clear photos just like this one by using HDR Photography.

[Daily Photo] Hill Auditorium and Burton Memorial Tower at dusk

I was standing on North University Avenue of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Across the Avenue are two beautiful iconic buildings in Ann Arbor --- Hill Auditorium and Burton Memorial Tower. It was in winter so the buildings were not blocked by trees.

It's not easy to see a cactus with flowers, but when I went to the University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens (in Ann Arbor, Michigan), I saw many strange cactuses blooming in the Conservertory. The cactus in this photo is the Old Lady Cactus (Mammillaria Hahniana, Cactaceae).

[Daily Photo] Evening sun in the woods / 午後的陽光穿透樹林

This photo was taken in Nichols Arboretum of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I was walking on the trail back to the entrance when I saw the evening sunlight through the trees made beautiful shadows on the hill.
