I took this photo from an observation deck in North Bay Park, Ypsilanti, Michigan. You can see this amazing long and narrow trail on the lake. Beautiful willow trees were planted along the trail.
There is a beautiful magnolia tree in the back of my house. The tree was in full bloom at the end of March because it blooms earlier than most other trees. However, the temperature suddenly dropped (I believed it was below the freezing point) on the night which I took this photo. The next day I found that the blossoms were all withered (They all turned brown). It was really a pity.
I went to Nichols Arboretum of the University of Michigan many times. This is my favorite spot in the Arboretum which is at Alex Dow Field. There is a huge Higan Cherry tree (Prunus subhirtella). When in the spring, the beautiful cherry blossoms catch everyone's eye.
I was in Arlington, Virginia, near Arlington Cemetery Metro Station. There is a small river flowing toward the city. I took this photo from a bridge. I like the cyan color of the river surface reflected from the sky.
I went to Greenfield Village next to the Henry Ford Museum (in Dearborn, Michigan) last week. They collect and preserve many old-time agricultural equipment in the village just like this one -- the Port Huron Steam Engine, a steam-power tractor made by the Port Huron Engine & Thresher Company. It can generate from 19 - 65 horsepower. Farmers used it to power their machine or pull/push farm equipment.
