[Daily Photo] Palmer Commons at dusk / 傍晚的街景

I went to Central Campus of the University of Michigan at sunset to take some night photos. I found this colorful street block when I was exploring the area near Palmer Field. The street in front of me is Washtenaw Ave, and the beautiful building is Palmer Commons. I was expecting to see many buildings with bright interior lights just like this one, but it ended up that most of the buildings were dark at this moment. I think the reason may be that it was already after the business hours. It was 9:20 PM when I took this photo. I guess winter may be the best time for taking night photos because sunset starts really early.

我在黃昏時刻到了密西根大學的中校區拍照。這裡是市中心，我預期可以拍到很多明亮的建築，就像照片中的一樣。但是事與願違，大部分的建築都黑漆漆的，僅有少數窗戶透出燈光。我想是因為已過了下班時間，只有少數人還留在建築內。所以有些照片要在冬天才有機會拍到，這裡冬天下午5點就天黑了，那時大家都還在上班。

[Daily Photo] Steam train at Greenfield Village / 懷舊蒸汽火車

This photo of a steam train was taken at the Firestone Station in Greenfield Village (in Dearborn, Michigan), a historical village owned by The Henry Ford. You can buy a pass to take a ride on this train which loops around Greenfield Village.

此照片拍攝於美國密西根州亨利福特集團所屬的Greenfield Village。照片中的蒸汽火車為遊園列車，需要額外購票才能乘坐。

[Daily Photo] Flowers of Calliandra haematocephala / 美麗的朱櫻花

This is Calliandra haematocephala and its flowers. The furry flower looks like a pink sea urchin on the tree branch. I took this photo in the greenhouse of Matthaei Botanical Gardens (in Ann Arbor, Michigan).

朱櫻花，又叫紅絨球。像極了長在樹上的紅色的海膽。

I went to North Campus of the University of Michigan at sunset to take photos. While I was rushing from one place to another, I passed by Duderstadt Center and was astonished by its beauty at night. 此照片中的建築為密西根大學北校區的圖書館(Duderstadt Center)，仔細觀察可以發現三樓有一個人正在K書。薄暮下的天空、燈光下的花朵，明亮的室內，搭配起來真是美極了。我正好有一張圖書館冬天的夜景照，請按這裡收看。

[Daily Photo] Crab apple blossoms in front of Lurie Engineering Center / 校園盛開的蘋果花

This photo was taken in front of Lurie Engineering Center (located on North Campus, the University of Michigan) when the crab apple trees were in full bloom. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between cherry and crab apple blossoms. But I guessed these trees were crab apple trees because they were in full bloom when the cherry blossoms had already withered. Please leave me a comment if I am wrong.

此照片拍攝於密西根大學的北校區。酸蘋果花和櫻花十分相像，我不太會分辨。查了很多資料，由花期來推測是酸蘋果花，因為拍這張照片的時候，櫻花都已經凋謝了。
