I love the tree silhouette in winter, especially against a blue sky or sunset. I took this photo at Gallup Park in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The tree in this photo was not a big tree; therefore, I tried to take this photo from low angle. I was satisfied with the result.

I Went to Waterloo Recreation Area (in Chelsea, Michigan) today. In this area you can do camping, swimming, fishing, water skiing, hiking etc. However, you can hardly do anything in this frozen season. It's totally unexaggerated to say now is the FROZEN season. Look at this photo I took on the lakeshore of Spring Lake. The whole lake surface was frozen.

[Daily Photo] Abyss Pool in West Thumb Geyser Basin, Yellowstone
Share this : | Email ThisBlogThis!Share to XShare to Facebook |
This is the Abyss Pool in West Thumb Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park. For the hot springs of Yellowstone, you can judge their temperature difference from the colors because different colors of bacteria grow at different temperature levels of the water. Therefore, in this photo you can find blue color in the center of the pool. The color changes from blue to green to yellow when it is close to the fringe of the pool.
