I took this photo in Waterloo Recreation Area (in Chelsea, Michigan). The frozen lake in this photo is Mud Lake. The trees in this photo looks like a gate, and in the middle of the gate lies a secret passageway that leads to the lake.

I was in the Waterloo Recreation Area (in Chelsea, Michigan), on my way from Clear Lake to Mud Lake. The tree without any leaves and dry grass matched perfectly in this winter scene.

I found this red barn in Chelsea on my way to Waterloo Recreation Area. This was my first time to park my car off the road to take a photo of the barn. Sometimes I saw beautiful barns when I drove on country roads, but it was not easy to find a safe place to park my car and take photos.

[Daily Photo] Frozen Spring Lakeshore

I Went to Waterloo Recreation Area (in Chelsea, Michigan) today. In this area you can do camping, swimming, fishing, water skiing, hiking etc. However, you can hardly do anything in this frozen season. It's totally unexaggerated to say now is the FROZEN season. Look at this photo I took on the lakeshore of Spring Lake. The whole lake surface was frozen.
